Qatar's climate can make conventional green-fodder cultivation difficult. High temperatures, limited agricultural land, water availability and seasonal supply fluctuations can affect production cost and consistency.

Star Tech's Smart Hydroponic Fodder System creates a controlled growing environment where selected seeds — including barley, wheat, maize or sorghum — can be developed into fresh green fodder without soil.

Temperature, humidity, irrigation, ventilation, lighting and water conditions are managed through an integrated automation platform. A typical growing cycle may take approximately seven to eight days, depending on the seed, operating conditions and production procedure.
